Experienced Seattle Financial Leader Cynthia Hwang
In 1999, Cynthia Hwang began her career with Wells Fargo. Over six years of service, she held various positions with the company. As the business banking officer for the Kitsap County and Tacoma Downtown markets for US Bank, Cynthia Hwang focused on developing commercial real estate and commercial loans of up to $500 million.
Next, Cynthia Hwang gained further leadership experience as the business development officer and vice president of Washington Mutual, where she managed numerous client portfolios with values of up to $20 million. She then joined a Seattle, Washington, financial institution as the senior business relationship manager and vice president. She provides individual and family clients with a variety of wealth management strategies.
Cynthia Hwang studied marketing, finance, and international business at the University of Washington, achieving a business degree and a certificate of international studies in business. She later studied international business and marketing at the Gonzaga University Graduate School of Business.
In addition to her work in the financial industry, she is a board member with Eastside Baby Corner and the Greater Chinese Chamber of Commerce. Her interests include yoga and playing classical piano and violin.
